Let Me Start My Story

Hi there! I'm a Quad Cities photographer original to Geneseo, IL; with a passion for capturing life's most vibrant moments. By day, I'm a dedicated stay-at-home mom and wife, but by evening, I transform into a creative force behind the lens, specializing in Halloween-themed shoots, maternity sessions, and imaginative, out-of-the-box concepts. My photography journey began as a hobby in 2015, sparked by a lifelong love for art that started with drawing at age 6. By 2017, I turned my passion into a thriving professional career, thanks to the incredible support of my clients who inspire me daily.

I’m a firm believer that laughter is the best medicine, and I strive to create a fun, relaxed vibe during every session, ensuring you feel confident and at ease. Whether we’re brainstorming spooky Halloween setups, capturing the glow of maternity, or bringing your wildest creative ideas to life, I’m all about making the experience unforgettable. As a lover of Christmas, Halloween, and all things spooky, I infuse my work with a playful, magical energy. When I’m not shooting, you’ll find me rocking out to alternative and rock music, diving into fantasy novels, or indulging in my Disney obsession (with a side of reality TV!).

    Mr. & Mrs. Smith 12/22/22

    For 12 beautiful years, we’ve known each other, growing closer through every moment. We’ve been together for 8 of those years, and as we approach our 3rd wedding anniversary, I’m reminded daily that he is not only my best friend but the love of my life. He brings joy, comfort, and endless love to my world, and I can’t imagine a single day without his warmth and laughter by my side.

    In 2023, our hearts overflowed with love as we welcomed our precious son into our family, making it beautifully complete. His arrival has filled our home with boundless joy, infectious laughter, and countless moments that we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Every smile, every giggle, every tiny milestone feels like a gift, weaving an even deeper love into our story. Our little boy is the light of our lives, and together, we’re building a legacy of love that grows sweeter every day.

    Butters & Opal

    In 2019, our hearts grew fuller when we welcomed Butters (on the left) into our lives, marking the start of our family as we settled into our first home. Then, in 2020, our sweet Opal (on the right) joined us, bringing even more love and light to our days. These two precious souls have woven so much joy, comfort, and laughter into our world, and I can’t imagine a single moment without their wagging tails and endless affection. Butters and Opal are the heartbeat of our home, and we’re forever grateful for the love they share with us every day.

    Svengoolie (Sven)

    This Christmas, our family grew even more joyful with the arrival of our newest puppy, Svengoolie, joining the ranks of our beloved holiday-tradition pups! Just like Butters and Opal before him, Svengoolie came into our lives with a burst of quirky charm, instantly fitting right in. His playful, one-of-a-kind spirit has made him Opal’s best buddy, their bond filling our home with endless fun and heartwarming moments. While we got Svengoolie with our son in mind, it’s clear he was truly meant to be Opal’s perfect partner-in-crime. Our hearts are so full with this trio of furry love, completing our family in the most delightful way.
